The Paper Concept / TPC
At The Paper Concept, we are committed to sustainable business practices that prioritise the health of our planet and our communities. As part of this commitment, we have developed a sustainable policy for our shipping and packaging operations. Our policy includes the following:
- Never ship with plastic: We recognise the negative impact that plastic has on our environment and will never use plastic materials for our shipping and packaging operations.
- Only use carbon neutral carriers were possible: We will only choose to work with carriers who have committed to carbon neutrality in their operations. This means that we will work with carriers who offset their emissions through the use of renewable energy sources or by investing in carbon reduction projects.
- Reuse all packaging materials and box filler: We will make every effort to reuse all packaging materials and box fillers that we receive from our suppliers or that are returned to us by customers. This includes materials such as cardboard boxes, packing filler and shredded card stock.
- Always try to avoid shipping separate consignments: We will always look for opportunities to consolidate shipments to reduce the number of separate consignments that we ship. This helps to reduce emissions and minimise our impact on the environment.
- Always create and use domestically where possible: We believe in supporting local businesses and will always try to create and use packaging materials that are sourced domestically. This helps to reduce our carbon footprint by minimising transportation emissions.
- Always use paper and other materials from sustainable sources: We are committed to using materials that are sourced from sustainable sources. This includes paper products that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or other recognised certification organisations.
At The Paper Concept, we believe that sustainability is a critical component of our business operations. We will continue to evaluate our policies and practices to ensure that we are doing our part to protect our planet and create a more sustainable future for all.
